Cory offers an established state-wide and national education law practice. Cory has extensive experience representing school administrators (primarily superintendents) in private and public schools and universities concerning various employment-related matters, including employment contract formation, negotiation and dissolution, administrative matters, and litigation.
Cory has significant experience working with employers and employees in a broad range of employment law issues ranging from executive compensation to litigation. Cory’s legal services include representing employers for training and discipline of employees, employment, severance and non-compete agreements, personnel policies, and defending employment discrimination claims. Cory has extensive experience representing executives and employees regarding their respective contractual and employment relationships with their employers, including employment and severance agreements and other matters affecting the employer-employee relationship.
Cory has broad experience concerning the formation, dissolution and enforcement of complex contracts and executive compensation. Cory’s experience negotiating, drafting, structuring all types of contracts, as well as his knowledge and experience regarding executive compensation, adds value beyond legal representation.
Cory regularly represents City Managers and other executives in the negotiation and drafting of their employment contracts and severance agreements.
With twenty plus (20+) years of experience representing both employers and employees in all types of employment-related matters, Cory brings a unique, balanced, and unbiased approach and perspective to employment investigations. He regularly conducts independent investigations for school districts, municipalities, colleges, and other public and private employers.
